Before a Massage
Before a Massage you want to make sure there are various things you do to ensure the best and most effective massage
Drink plenty of water! Not having hydrated muscles is like the difference between beef jerky and steak. When you are not hydrated your muscles are hard, cracked, and have no movement, but when meat is hydrated its like a nice juicy steak. Soft, easy to move, and work into is what I want your muscles to be like when I am working on them.
Dress in comfy clothes-sometimes I use oils or creme and that can leave residue on your skin.

After a massage
After a massage the most important thing to do is RELAX!
First, because your body is getting use to me manipulating your tissues and you may feel dizzy or lightheaded, especially if it's your first massage, if you don't take it easy. Also, the massage can release toxins that were stored in your muscles and you want to flush them out as soon as possible.
Second, you just spent an hour or more relaxing and becoming more in-tune with your body, so keep that momentum going of a healthy and well cared for body!
Lastly, drink water to help with flushing out all the toxins and hydrate those muscles.
Think of any and all questions- I want you to be as knowledgeable as you can about what is happening with your body or how my bodywork is affecting it.
